So this is it – visa was granted & received last Friday and flight was booked the same afternoon. I am definitely going now! Monday 28 January I leave and no looking back (at least not for the next 3 years) 
Still got quite a lot to sort out, though thankfully the lovely Ben & Tilly have offered me somewhere to stay when I first arrive in Brisbane and UQ organise an airport reception for me too. So it’s time to get packing and get out there!
Make the most of me while you still can people I have sent out a Facebook invitation letting everyone know about meeting up for a few drinks in London the weekend before I leave so take a look at that or ask me for more info if you need to.
