Just a short update to release some of the stress from today.
In short, I found out today that due to a simple mislabelled flask in the lab I have been performing tests over the last 3-4 months on completely the wrong chemical compound….. Including half of the tests we performed when I came over to England. This is not good. It’s not good for me, because I am now going to have to make the compound we thought we had, and then perform all of the tests again (apart from those done in England, because we can’t do those again so easily). It’s also not good for Julie, who’s entire project for this year hinged upon comparing her results with my results. Her project deadline is Wednesday. It is currently Monday night.
Oh well, looks like I will be working pretty hard over the next few weeks :/

Well I’m not sure who labelled the flask but nobody did it on purpose.
It’s just really annoying…..
It will all be fixable, but it will take a long time that is all. Sets me back a few months.
